FOTOSPEED sponsor the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year

The Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year competition are delighted to announce that Fotospeed are now one of our official sponsors of the 2015 competition.

Established in 1989 Fotospeed have been market leaders supplying the photographic industry with materials and expertise. It all began with specialist darkroom chemicals and In 2000, with the birth of digital photography, Fotospeed established their unique and specialist range of Fine Art and Photo Quality inkjet papers and canvases.

Competition founder Stuart Low said “I’m absolutely delighted to have Fotospeed sponsor us for this year’s competition. We’re all used to seeing amazing images on the small screen but an image really doesn’t come alive till you see it in print. When it came to displaying the winners images at our exhibitions, nothing but the very best would do for me and that meant Fotospeed’s products were at the top of my list. I believe that the printed image is something we should cherish and Fotospeed supplied us with their Platinum etch papers to reproduce the 2014 winners images to the very best quality possible.  The results are truly outstanding and this has been reflected in the overwhelmingly positive feedback from visitors to our exhibitions. Fotospeed’s sponsorship means we can continue showcasing the breathtaking images of our talented photographers in the 2015 competition.”

The new sponsorship deal sees Fotospeed provide £1000 worth of prizes in the Overall, Landscape, Seascape, Urban and Youth categories, and the competition re opens on 25th September 2015.

Toby Herlinger, Managing Director of Fotospeed UK said – “We are very proud to sponsor the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition. Seeing amazing images of the Scottish landscape by our talented photographers from all over the world is something we are really looking forward to and seeing them printed on Fotospeed’s premier papers is something we’re very excited about too!”
